2025年11月に開催した個展「幻獣博士の部屋」より、作品をまとめた1冊です。
こちらは英語版となります。
原本の日本語版とはレイアウトが異なります。
画集「幻獣博士の手記」はこの個展のために制作した作品たちに加え、展示しきれなかった幻獣たちや解説を多数収録しています。
また、特に注目していただきたいのは作品に付随する物語も合わせて収録している部分です。
普段であればあまり公開する事のない作品の背景や設定、物語をたっぷり記載していますので、作品集というより「手記」や「博士の記録」らしさのある一冊となっています。
This book features not only the works created specifically for this solo exhibition but also includes numerous mythical beasts and explanatory notes that could not be displayed during the show.
Another highlight is the inclusion of the stories accompanying each artwork.
It contains a wealth of background information, settings, and narratives that are rarely shared publicly, making this volume feel more like a “notebook” or “the doctor’s records” than a typical art collection.
