This is the English-language catalogue for the solo exhibition "32 Black Swans", held at Shinjuku Ophthalmology Gallery in July 2025.
For this exhibition, I presented a series of works inspired by and expanding upon the two central themes found in the classic ballet masterpieces "Swan Lake"and "Giselle".
This catalogue features a selection of new works exhibited as part of the show. To help readers who may be unfamiliar with ballet more fully appreciate the world of these works, synopses of each ballet are also included.
本書は、2025年7月に新宿眼科ギャラリーで開催された個展『32 Black Swans』の英語版カタログです。
本展では、バレエの古典的名作『白鳥の湖』と『ジゼル』に見られる2つの主要なテーマに着想を得て、それをさらに発展させた一連の作品を発表しました。
